The Nexa Nurse Academy Certified Caregiver (NNACC) is a comprehensive foundation certification designed to equip aspiring caregivers with the essential knowledge, practical skills, and professional values required to provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care to individuals in home, community, and healthcare settings.
This certification prepares learners to support older adults, people living with disabilities, individuals recovering from illness or surgery, and those requiring daily personal assistance. Participants will gain a strong understanding of person-centred care, communication, infection prevention and control, nutrition, mobility assistance, medication awareness, emergency response, safeguarding, and professional ethics.
The programme combines theoretical learning with practical caregiving principles to ensure graduates are confident, competent, and ready to deliver care that meets recognised professional standards.
Upon successful completion of the course and all required assessments, participants will be awarded the Nexa Academy Nurse Certified Caregiver (NNACC) certification, demonstrating their readiness to work as professional caregivers in home care agencies, hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, rehabilitation centres, and other healthcare environments.
