The Nexa Nurse Academy Advanced Caregiver (NNAAC) is the second level of the Nexa Academy professional caregiving certification pathway. It is designed for caregivers who have completed foundational training and are ready to develop more advanced knowledge, practical skills, and professional competence.
The NNAAC programme builds on the core principles established at the NNACC level and prepares learners to provide higher-level, person-centred care for individuals with more complex needs. Learners develop greater competence in care planning, health observation, risk management, safeguarding, infection prevention, communication, and supporting clients with complex physical, cognitive, and emotional needs.
Graduates of this level are prepared to take on greater responsibility within their scope of practice, work more confidently alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals, contribute to care planning and monitoring, and provide safe and compassionate support in home, community, and other care environments.
The NNAAC certification represents a progression from foundational caregiving to advanced caregiving practice, helping learners build the confidence and professional capabilities required for career advancement and more demanding care roles.
